Word by Word Translation

Gadis desa lugu buat surat ke do'inya yang bule dengan bahasa Inggris. Dengan berbekal sebuah kamus, ia menulis

I don't want to sick my heart 2 river

But, if you correct-correct ask sorry to me...
This river I forgive you, next river I kill you

Have you realized that the letter is unacceptable in English?
Actually, it uses "word by word translation", the way that you have to avoid in translating Indonesia to English because it ignores some elements of English writing, such as grammar/usage, choice of words, context, and culture.

Compare with the following one!

An ordinary village girl wrote an English letter to her boyfriend. As she was looking up at an English dictionary, she wrote

Dear you,
I want to break our relationship
I have thought of this thoroughly
You are a real playboy
My friend told that you play full on me
I don't want to suffer from love for the second time
If you want to look for another girl, I'll be ok
